🧭 Step-by-step guide
Option 1: Adjust the automatic scoring system
You can prioritise certain criteria, such as museum associations, so new contacts are scored with your gallery’s preferences in mind
To do this, go to settings
In general scroll down to Scoring Prompt
In the box fill in information about your gallery and what you prioritise
Examples could be "We are especially interested in people from an institutional background including museums and public galleries as well as high net worth individuals."
Option 2: Manually update a score
Open Contacts in First Thursday
Select the contact you want to adjust
In the Overview tab, scroll to the bottom of the profile
Click the pencil icon
Enter a new score based on your own judgement
Click Regenerate to update the score with your changes
📬 What happens next
For automatic scoring: once updated, all newly generated contacts will reflect your adjusted scoring preferences
For manual scoring: the updated score will be applied immediately to the chosen contact and reflected across your contact records
You can revisit either option at any time to make further adjustments
